Course Description:
This is a 5-hour course designed to teach how to select POD and CSA sites, the equipment and personnel need to operate both types of sites, and the duties of personnel at each type of site.
Target Audience:
The primary target audiences for this course are County Logistics personnel (County, EOC, and municipal) personnel and select County/Municipal/Private/NGO officials who deal directly with the siting, staffing, and general operations of POD and CSA sites.
Prerequisites:
Participants must complete and provide proof of completion of the following courses prior to the start of this course. It is recommended that the participants scan their completion certificates directly into their SERT TRAC accounts.
· ICS/IS-100 - Introduction to the Incident Command System
· ICS/IS-200 - Basic Incident Command System
· ICS-300 - Intermediate Incident Command System
· IS-700 - An Introduction to the National Incident Management System (FEMA certificate required)
