Broward County residents and businesses who submitted their appliance rebate application may check their rebate status online using their last name and zip code on the application. Please allow 2 weeks after you submit an application for a status to be posted.

Below is a description of application status categories.

Status Category Description

Application Received

Application has been received and is under review.  Please allow 8-12 weeks after March 16, 2012 for the review to be completed.

Additional Information Requested

The application packet is missing items or the applicant has submitted incomplete items.  Applicant should refer to the notification letter that was mailed or emailed which provides a list of incomplete or missing items.  Please note the deadline has been provided for when all items must be submitted.

Application Approved

Your application has been approved. You will receive a rebate in the mail when the funds are processed.  Check has not yet been mailed.

Application Complete (approval pending fund availability)

A waitlist applicant’s application has been reviewed and is complete. Rebate will be provided to applicant if funds become available.

Application Denied

Applicant did not meet/abide program terms and conditions and is ineligible for a rebate.

Rebate Check Mailed

Your application has been approved. Your rebate has been processed.  Expect a check in the mail from Broward County within 2 weeks.

Rebate Check Undeliverable

Your application has been approved. Your rebate was mailed to the address provided in your application, however it was returned to the County. Please contact us to resolve the issue.

Funding unavailable for this rebate request- Thank you for applying.

In accordance with program terms and conditions, waiting list applicants are eligible for rebates based on the order in which applications were received.  Unfortunately, all funds have been reserved and you will not receive a rebate.
