County Observes Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month

The Nancy J. Cotterman Center is kicking-off a new outreach campaign, "We Believe You!" that emphasizes the Center's longstanding approach of believing and supporting victims of sexual assault and child abuse unconditionally. A series of ads representing the faces of those who have been victimized by sexual assault and abuse will be seen on transit buses traveling throughout Broward. Join us on Denim Day April 25th

Wear jeans on Tuesday, April 25th to show your support and help raise awareness about sexual violence. Attend the County Commission meeting at 10AM, in room 422 of the Governmental Center, 115 S. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, as a proclamation is read to reinforce the importance of speaking out against sexual violence and supporting the victims.
