Broward County's Pioneer for 2025 will be honored at the 49th Annual Pioneer Day on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center, 1770 Monroe Street, Hollywood, FL 33020.
Guests will celebrate the achievements of Broward County's Pioneers – the fearless men and women who have furthered the diversity and cultural vibrancy of their local communities – at the 49th Annual Pioneer Day with reception followed by a formal recognition and awards ceremony. Broward's 2025 Pioneers and awrds receipients - each nominated by local historical societies and municipalities - join the distinguished list of over 1,500 other community leaders who have been honored across the decades since 1973.
This year's hosts are the City of Hollywood and the Hollywood Historical Society, and the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center, joined by annual hosts, the Broward County Historic Preservation Board & Broward County Cultural Division.
