The Community Development Block Grant Program is a federal program that provides funding for housing and community development. The primary objective is to develop viable communities, provide decent housing and a suitable living environment, and to expand economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income. Total allocation of (CDBG) funds can be reviewed in the 2010-2011 Broward Housing Council Annual Report at www.browardhousingcouncil.org.
