AVIATION COLLEGE INTERN – FULL TIME $13.51/Hour plus benefits

The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and the North Perry Airport (HWO) is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic College Intern to work in the Airport’s Operations Division. The College Intern will report directly to the Director of Operations and assist with administrative duties including preparing statistical reports and maintaining databases to obtain airport best practices for operational benchmarking. Other duties include supporting field personnel responding to irregular airport operations/security situations on demand on Airside, Landside, Terminals, Ground Transportation and Parking areas of both FLL and HWO Airports. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with Airport Operations Management and gain hands on experience with all facets of Airport Operations.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in; or have graduated from; an accredited four year college or university with major coursework in Airport Management or related field.
