Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport 

AVIATION STUDENT COLLEGE INTERN (6 months)– Full Time $13.51/Hour no benefits                               

The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and the North Perry Airport (HWO) is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Student College Interns to work in various areas within the Aviation Department for a 6-month internship.  The Aviation Department is comprised of several divisions: Administration, Airport Expansion, Business, Capital Improvement, Finance, Information Systems, Legal, Maintenance, Operations, Planning, and Security.   Student College Interns will assist the Aviation Department with day-to-day operations, programs, and special projects. 

This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands on experience working in different areas of the aviation industry.  Interns will be placed in areas based on their degree program of enrollment and career interests (Aviation degrees are not necessary).   Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited four year college or university.

Candidates will be evaluated based on the documents submitted and an oral panel interview.  Resumes will be subject to public disclosure in accordance with Florida’s Public Records Law.
