Human services department (HSD) “In Action” 1 day tour is being offered to students who are enrolled into any higher education institution in the country and who are interested in learning more about human services careers in government.

This is an incredible opportunity for students to learn about the work that is being done in Broward County and the many ways we serve this community. Students will visit the County offices in Government Center East during the first half of the tour where they will learn about the important roles within human services and then go to the agency they selected during the second half of the tour for an in-person experience about the services provided to the citizens of Broward.

Kindly note, students will need to make arrangements to transport themselves from one location to the next as we are not providing transportation from the County offices to the agencies. Also, lunch is not being offered during the tour. Students are welcomed to bring their own lunch, purchase food in the many surrounding restaurants or they can purchase lunch in our cafeteria

Please make a selection (1st and 2nd choice) after watching the following video, and from the list below, of the agency you would like to visit during the tour. Currently, we are only able to offer students one site visit per tour.
