Intensive case management is provided to families in need of temporary subsidized rental assistance, while promoting a secure mandatory savings option to help ensure self-sufficiency at the conclusion of the program. Each participant receives assistance in developing skills including:

• Budgeting
• Life management skills

The duration of services range from three months to 12 months, determination made on case by case basis.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Meet HUD’s definition of family and homeless
• Reside in Broward County for at least six months
• Demonstrate the ability to ensure self- sufficiency accompanied by proper documentation, including the ability to pay rent and living expenses following rental subsidy conclusion
