Intensive case management is provided to families in need of temporary subsidized rental assistance, while promoting a secure mandatory savings option to help ensure self-sufficiency at the conclusion of the program. Each participant receives assistance in developing skills including:
- Life management skills
The duration of services range from three months to 12 months, determination made on case by case basis.
- Meet HUD’s definition of family and homeless
- Reside in Broward County for at least six months
- Demonstrate the ability to ensure self- sufficiency accompanied by proper documentation, including the ability to pay rent and living expenses following rental subsidy conclusion
