Broward League of Cities

Purpose
To identify and resolve issues which affect the day-to-day operations of Broward County’s 31 cities and municipalities, including legislation at the county, state, and federal levels. 

To conduct research and suggest policies for current topics affecting residents including education, housing, economic concerns and municipal services.     

Created By

Chartered in 1957 as a non-partisan, non-profit organization.

Membership:  Elected officials from Broward County’s 31 municipal governments and a representative of Broward County government.

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners appoints three (3) members of the County Commission to the Board of Directors: Director, Alternate, and 2nd Alternate.

One year, beginning in May.
