The purpose of the Broward County Human Rights Board is to encourage equality of treatment and to prevent discrimination against any racial, religious, ethnic, or other minority group or its members.

Our Mission Statement: The Human Rights Board will be a catalyst for change and improvement on equality and human rights. In carrying out this mission, the Board will provide professional, competent and considerate service to everyone who seeks information and will provide a neutral forum for resolving a complaint of discrimination filed pursuant to the Human Rights Act and Fair Housing Act.

The Human Rights Board meets quarterly on the second Monday in January, April, July, and October, 1:00 P.M., Broward County Governmental Center, Room 302. Any changes in the
noticed meetings will be posted in compliance with Florida's Sunshine Law.
