Assistant County Attorney
Joined the Office in 2017
Claudia Capdesuñer joined the Office of the County Attorney in 2017 and works in the Transportation, Consumer Advocacy, and Code Enforcement Section of the Office. In this role, she advises County agencies on a variety of issues related to transportation and consumer protection. In addition, Mrs. Capdesuñer serves as a member of the Office's Internship Committee. In this role, she assists with recruitment of law students for the Office's Summer Clerkship Program.
Mrs. Capdesuñer joined the office immediately after graduating with honors from St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, she participated in the County Attorney's Office Summer Clerkship Program, interned for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Department of Justice, and clerked at a litigation firm in Coral Gables, Florida. Additionally, Mrs. Capdesuñer served as the Managing Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, competed for the St. Thomas Law Moot Court Board, and served as an Active Learning Instructor wherein she assisted first-year law students in Property I and II courses.
Outside of the Office, Mrs. Capdesuñer enjoys traveling and spending time with family, including her husband and beagle named Bernie. Mrs. Capdesuñer is fluent in Spanish.
