Rocío Blanco García

Rocío Blanco García has a diverse practice that includes employment litigation, appeals, and complex technology transactions. She has argued before Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal, in state and federal trial courts, and before arbitrators and administrative hearing officers.
Her practice includes labor arbitrations, actions before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Americans with Disabilities Act matters, and civil rights cases. She also has defended the County in numerous personal-injury matters and is primarily responsible for analyzing ethics-related issues affecting the Board of County Commissioners, department directors, and staff.
Outside the County Attorney’s Office, Ms. Blanco García has
taught legal research and writing as an adjunct professor at the Florida International University College of Law and, for four years, tutored students seeking admission to the Florida Bar and other jurisdictions throughout the United States. Her interests include adventure travel, reading, and spending time with her basset hounds.
