Joined the Office in 2007
Adam Katzman is the head of the Office’s Employment and Labor practice group. As the head of the Employment and Labor group and as an experienced litigator, he represents the County in employment discrimination litigation in both federal and state court, as well as handling matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and representing the County in arbitrations concerning employee discipline and collective bargaining agreements.
In addition, Adam represents the Office of the Medical Examiner and Trauma Services, serves as counsel for Broward County’s Human Rights Board, and advises the County about the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Before joining the Broward County Attorney’s Office, Adam was an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County.
