A South Florida native, Robert Teitler has practiced law in the region for more than three decades, primarily as an appellate attorney. He has argued numerous cases before the Florida Supreme Court and the state’s First, Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal, for the County, for the Florida Attorney General’s Office, and while in private practice. He currently represents the County in tax deed surplus litigation. He has previously represented the County in personal injury and worker’s compensation claims, as well as in litigation involving labor and employment. Rob also previously advised County officers and employees on ethics issues, and handled transactional matters for the Aviation Department and the Risk Management Division.

Mr. Teitler serves as a member of the Executive Council of the City, County and Local Government Law Section of The Florida Bar, and is currently the Section’s Chair. He also serves as the Chair of that Section’s annual Sunshine Law, Public Records and Ethics Seminar.
