Full-text database provides biographical information on more than 22,000 people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. Search by name, or various criteria such as birth and death year, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender. Most biographies have an image of the subject.
Both an online database and a series of e-newsletters providing information about new Broward County Library titles added for children, teens and adults in all formats - books, CDs and DVDs. More than 50 lists of recommended titles are updated every one to four weeks. Each title includes a picture of the cover and a brief description of the work. Critical reviews are available for many, but not all titles.
