Volunteering at a Broward County Library is a unique and meaningful way for residents to give something very valuable of themselves back to their community: their time. Opportunities exist for teens, adults and seniors.
Whether you want the chance to make a difference in someone’s life, make friends and have fun, or earn valuable community service hours and professional experience, the library is a place where you can share your special skills and better your world.
The Broward County Library relies heavily on volunteers to deliver an array of programs and services from computer technology, shelving books, tutoring a student to leading a library tour. Whatever your special skills or interest areas, we can find a place for you with flexible hours that fit your schedule!
More than 1,900 new volunteers - students, seniors, boomers, working parents, and business professionals contribute their talents, skills and knowledge to the communities of Broward County Public Library.
To get started, please complete the Volunteer Interest Form. Once completed, your contact information will be forward to the locations you selected for further consideration.
