QR CodeWhat are QR codes?
QR stands for Quick Response. The QR codes can be used by anyone with a smart phone (such as an iPhone, Android or Blackberry). To scan a QR code, you'll need a scanner application (app) such as QR Scanner or NeoReader, which is available from your particular smart phone's online app store, and many of these apps are free. Simply open the QR scanner app and scan the code using the camera on your smart phone and it will direct you to a website, photo, video, product, or services.

QR codes have been in use since 1994, but are gaining popularity in the U.S. as an efficient way to provide bookmarks to web resources.
