Get involved and become a LVP (Library Volunteer Person)

​​The opportunities for community service hours or just make a difference in your city are numerous, and the rewards are countless.

Unique volunteer opportunities offered at Broward County Libraries include:

  • Library Ambassador
  • Teen Program Assistant
  • Computer Class Instructor
  • Adult Programing Assistant
  • Music Recording Studio Assistant
  • Multi-Media Technology Instructor
  • Mentor
  • Event Planning

Most volunteer shifts are between two and four hours long and schedules are flexible.
To get started, please complete the Volunteer Interest Form or email​​​​.

Library Volunteer Person (LVP) applications, can be filled out on your computer and printed. Upon request, the completed application and photo identification can be taken to the library location where you would like to volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 will need their parent/guardian signature on these forms.
