The Lawgiver by Herman WoukDuring November, Broward County Library Commemorates Jewish Heritage, Explore Art, History, Music and More!

Jewish Heritage Month, commemorated by Broward County Libraries (BCL) each November, recognizes Jewish contributions to American culture and history. From music to movies and arts to literature, the month is filled with programs, events and more that shine a spotlight on Jewish heritage.
  
November also kicks off the 2013/2014 Ruth E. Cohan Jewish Book Review Series, which presents a book review/discussion once a month from November 2013 through March 2014. November’s selection is The Lawgiver by Herman Wouk. All Ruth E. Cohan Jewish Book Review Series discussions are free and open to the public. This month’s dates, times and locations are:
November 13 - 2 to 3 p.m., Northwest Regional Library
November 14 - 1 to 2 p.m., Main Library
November 18 - 2 to 3 p.m., Tamarac Library   
November 20 - 2 to 3 p.m., North Regional/Broward College Library
