Mother's Day

Mother’s Day, celebrated in the U.S. on the second Sunday in May, is about the number-one woman in everyone’s life – Mom. There are as many ways to celebrate as there are different types of mothers, with flowers, cards and homemade keepsakes coming as obvious favorite gifts. Some moms may opt for a day of luxe pampering while others head outdoors for sporty fun. When in doubt, breakfast in bed always works.

Whether you’re looking for a Mother’s Day matinee, fun crafts for kids or even a special concert for Mom, Broward County Library has you covered. You can also visit the library for books, movies and more to make your Mom feel extra special this Sunday.
