Art Spot: Can you name the library branch where this public art is located?

CLUES:

  • Artist:  Andrew Reid
  • Title:  Imagination Encircles the World
  • Medium:  Mural - Painted
  • Size: 5' x 120' x 1'
  • Year Installed:  2003
  • Traversing the expanse above the circulation desk, this mural runs the length of the wall in either direction, from the adult section to the children’s area. It is a mixed media work with three-dimensional cedar elements floating in front of the painted canvas. Alternating between figural and abstract expression, the elements suggest questions about the role of a 21st century library.

Come back next week for the answer!
