​Creation Station Lab is a makerspace/gadget lab located on the first floor of the Main Library in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It’s the first free community center in Broward equipped with tools such as ​state-of-the-art computers and 3D printers as well as public access to the latest virtual reality equipment. ​​​

There are also two Creation Stations at other libraries which concentrate on specific creative areas. The Creation Station at Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs features equipment/space for hands-on projects including 3D printers and a large, open space with work tables. At the Creation Station in Jan Moran Collier City Learning Library​ in Pompano Beach, the emphasis is on music production with a sound room, engineering booth, electronic keyboards and guitars, drum kits and microphones as well as acoustic guitars available for check out in conjunction with a music tutoring program. ​
