Segment III Dune Grant Program Reopened

Accepting Proposals for the Segment III Coastal Dune Restoration Grants
Awards of $4,000 each to support local dune projects

The Environmental Planning and Community Resilience Division (EPCRD) has reopened the Beach Segment III Coastal Dune Restoration Grant Program and is accepting applications for this competitive matching grant program. Grants are available to local municipalities, beachfront property owners, civic associations and non-profit groups to conduct dune restoration and enhancement projects along Broward County's Segment III shoreline. The  Segment III shoreline is the 6.2 miles of beach from John U. Lloyd Beach State Park (JUL), just south of Port Everglades, to the Broward County line in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

Applications will be received until all programs funds are awarded. The grant funds will be disbursed on a first come, first served basis for projects that meet the program goals.
