Florida Master Gardener 
The Master Gardener training is offered annually through the UF/IFAS Broward County Extension Office.

National Wildlife Federation Habitat Stewards
Habitat Steward Training Classes are offered annually in January for residents and in August for Broward County Public School teachers and other educators. If you would like to become a Habitat Steward, contact us at naturescape@broward.org or call 954-519-0317 for information and registration.

North American Butterfly Association (NABA)
The Broward County Butterfly Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association is a member-based not-for-profit organization working to increase public enjoyment and conservation of butterflies. 


NatureScape Volunteers

  • Work with communities to promote NatureScape principles.
  • Lend expertise at special events.
  • Volunteer at Water Matters Day.
  • Give NatureScape presentations.
  • Write articles for local newspapers and community newsletters.
  • Promote an increase and diversification of native plants.
  • Act as role models and leaders within their communities.
  • Play a critical role in helping to ensure the success of the NatureScape Broward program.
