McNicol Middle School Green Dream Team Looks Forward to Enjoying the “Fruits” of Their Labor

McNicol Middle School Green Dream Team looks forward to planting their trees
Over forty tropical fruit trees and plants were installed on campus at McNicol Middle School by the Green Dream Team headed by science teacher Richard Torres on November 13, 2013. Team members work in the tropical fruit orchard at least once a week. The orchard was made possible by a Whole Kids Foundation grant from the South Florida Audubon Society. Mr. Torres said “It gives students a lifetime opportunity to learn about urban farming.”
