Irrigation Evaluations Save Water & Money
NatureScape Broward conducts irrigation system evaluations at Broward County Public Schools, documenting the amount of water being used and identifying opportunities for improving performance and efficiency.
In 2013, 75 evaluations were completed at 40 schools resulting in the savings of more than 38 million gallons of water per year. Since June 2009, 332 irrigation evaluations have been conducted at 165 schools, resulting in the savings of over 220,000,000 gallons of water per year.
These evaluations result in annual savings in water and energy costs. To schedule an evaluation, or learn more about the process, contact Maena Angelotti, Water Conservation Specialist, at 954-519-1462.
