BCT Welcomes New Managers
Broward County Transit (BCT) is pleased to welcome two new transportation
professionals to the County’s Transit operations. Mary McCahon Shaffer,
formerly from the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA)
will serve as BCT’s Transit Manager responsible for Customer Relations
and Communications. Oscar Figueroa joins BCT from Metro, St. Louis,
Missouri and will serve as the new Manager of Safety and Compliance.
Both managers are accomplished in their respective areas of expertise.
These appointments underscore BCT’s continued prioritization and
commitment to passenger safety, security and customer service.
