Sea Turtles and Their Babies Program
Sea turtles use South Florida's beaches during the spring and summer months to lay and incubate their eggs until the hatchlings emerge 45 to 55 days later. This program shares the mysterious life of sea turtles and their fight for survival, and ends with a beachside release of hatchlings on Wednesday and Friday nights from the beginning of July through the end of August. Reservations are required for this popular program, which often sells out, so early registration is recommended. Program reservations taken at the Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan St., Hollywood (954-357-5161).
