Park Facility Permit
The rental facility is available for public use by reservation. A Park Facility Permit must be filled out to ensure reservation of the facility. The rental fee must be paid in full before the reservation of the facility is in affect

Weekdays (Mondays-Thursdays) - $20/hour
Weekends - $400 for all day (eight hours - 9 a.m.-5 p.m.)
All fees are subject to applicable Florida sales tax, except gate admission fee.
On the day of the event, prior to any setup activity, a cleanup/security deposit of $100 shall be left at the office with the park staff. After the facility has been sufficiently cleaned in the estimation of the park staff and also vacated according to the agreed upon time, the deposit will be returned to the permit holder or designee. Failure to clean the facility properly or violations of any park rules will result in the loss of the deposit. Any property damaged due to the rental party will be replaced / repaired by the party to at least the equal value of the property. Security/cleanup deposit will be held. Returned deposits must be obtained by the permit holder or designee before leaving the park on the day of the rental. The time selected for facility use includes sufficient time for setting up, holding the event, and cleaning the facility to the satisfaction of park personnel.
The rental facility may be used for most activities. Any unusual equipment and/or activity must be approved by park management and noted on the permit prior to the activity date. All equipment must be removed within the time frame selected for facility use. Amplified music or sound is permitted in the Fountain Room only.
All intoxicants other than beer and wine are prohibited.
Food and Beverages
Permitted within the Fountain Room only.
The permit holder is responsible for the caterer’s personnel, vehicles, equipment, and compliance with all policies, rules, and regulations. Any extra equipment must have manager's approval prior to the rental.
All caterers shall provide a Certificate of Insurance to the Parks and Recreation Division prior to doing business at the park facility. (See Vendor Information.)
If decorations, maps, posters, or other materials are to be posted, they must be attached with tape only. The tape must not do any damage to the walls or counters. NO DECORATIONS OR ANY OTHER OBJECTS MAY BE HUNG FROM OR ATTACHED TO THE CEILING IN ANY WAY. The use of staples, nails, tacks, or other items that enter a surface is prohibited. All tape and articles posted must be removed completely within the time frame selected for facility use.
1. No decorations are permitted anywhere but inside the Fountain Room.
2. Unused tables and chairs must remain inside the storage room. Tables and/or chairs may not be removed from the Fountain Room.
3. Loading area at the entrance to the building complex is for dropoff needs only. Vehicles must be moved to a designated parking space immediately thereafter. All loading and unloading must be done using the ramp entrance to the building.
4. Only the following items are available to the rental party: cart, chairs, and tables. Cleanup materials and garbage bags will be supplied by the park staff.
5. Please use birdseed instead of rice at weddings.
Hours of Operation
9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including setup and breakdown time
1. Tables and chairs must be cleaned and stacked onto dollies. Chairs must all face the same way. Tables must be stacked top to top, legs to legs.
2. All decorations and tape must be removed.
3. All trash must be picked up and placed in receptacles provided.
4. All floors must be swept.
All vehicles must park in the designated areas.
Not allowed in the Fountain Room.
Sale of Goods, Raffles, etc.
The sale of any article, food, or beverage to the public, without specific Parks and Recreation approval, is prohibited by County Ordinance 76-34. Requests for any such charges must be made to the park manager.
Permit holders must take all necessary steps to control all of their participants. Children attending rental affairs must be supervised at all times. Any person or persons violating facility rental or park rules and regulations or, in the opinion of the park manager or employee in charge, constituting a public nuisance or potential hazard to public or park property, or exhibiting disorderly conduct, shall be served notice by the park manager or the employee in charge and be expelled without refund of fees from the park property. Fireworks, explosives, and weapons other than firearms may not be brought into or discharged in parks. Park visitors with valid concealed-weapons permits may bring their firearms into the parks subject to Florida Statutes 790.053, 790.06, and 790.33.
No subcontracting on any permit is allowed. This will result in the immediate revocation of the permit involved.
Admission to the Park
Gate admission is in effect on weekends and holidays for everyone entering the park during normal operational hours: $1.50 per person for everyone over the age of 5.
Cancellation and Refunds
In order to be eligible for a refund, cancellation requests must be in writing to the park manager, at least 14 days prior to the intended day of use. A $100 cancellation fee will still be assessed. No refunds will be given for inclement weather.
The Broward County Board of County Commissioners and Broward County Parks and Recreation Division will not be responsible for any loss of personal property or injury by fire, theft, accident, or natural incident.
The charge for processing a dishonored check, draft, or money order is as follows:
- a $25 fee for any item not exceeding $50
- a $30 fee for items exceeding $50 but not exceeding $300
- a $40 fee or five percent of the face value (whichever is greater) for items exceeding
The park staff must be contacted to set up rehearsal time to make them aware of the date and time to avoid conflicts.
NONCOMPLIANCE WITH ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES MAY RESULT IN THE REVOCATION OF PERMIT, LOSS OF SECURITY/CLEANUP DEPOSIT, AND REFUSAL OF ANY SUBSEQUENT PERMIT APPLICATIONS FOR A PERIOD OF UP TO ONE YEAR.
