Let’s face it: We live in opinionated times. From polls and surveys to social media and more traditional media, everybody wants to know what you think. And we’re no different. The Broward County Parks and Recreation Division, in conjunction with the consulting firm GreenPlay, invited your input on a survey that helped us assess customer satisfaction and identified potential partnership opportunities and strategic planning issues, as well as provided feedback about your community’s recreational needs.
Back in late April we invited the public to provide input at a series of focus groups designed to assess customer satisfaction with our county park system and identify potential partnership opportunities and strategic planning issues, as well as to supply feedback about the community’s recreational needs.
The Broward County Parks and Recreation Division, in conjunction with the consulting firm GreenPlay, reported back on the initial findings from those focus groups and began to shape our vision for the future in two public forums.
The following meeting was the last chance to give feedback on the Needs Assessment Report. The presentation was held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at:
Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium
3700 N.W. 11th Place
Lauderhill, FL 33311
The public was welcome to attend.
