Student Lifeguard and Seasonal Lifeguard
Lifeguards work within the organization to perform skilled water-safety work involved in the operation of County aquatics facility/facilities while maintaining staff and patron safety, order, and discipline at the assigned aquatics facility/facilities. Lifeguards also perform emergency water-rescue techniques to assist persons in distress: apply CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and administers standard first aid when necessary.

Target Range Attendant
Range Attendants perform a variety of customer service and range operations activities, monitors patron activity, and protects patrons while minimizing unsafe actions/conditions at Markham Park Target Range.

Seasonal Recreation Aides perform a variety of recreation program implementation activities and/or park maintenance at neighborhood parks usually between the months of June and August.

Seasonal Recreation Coordinators organize, teach, and supervise various specialized recreation groups for special populations at neighborhood parks usually between the months of June and August.

Student Workers can perform a variety of entry-level positions to include: Account Clerk, Office Support Specialist, Concessions, Maintenance, and Parks Aide. All Student Worker positions require you to be currently enrolled in a state-licensed school, college, or university, must be at least 16 years of age, and must demonstrate student status for the duration of the appointment.
