Master Gardener Public Service Center Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Master Gardener Public Service Center?
Each Public Service Center is an information desk, based at a Broward County Park and serving the residents of that park’s neighborhood. Each center will be staffed by a Master Gardener with Internet and printer access, a telephone, and a microscope.

How many centers are there and where are they located?
There will be six centers: C.B. Smith Park, 900 N. Flamingo Rd., Pembroke Pines; Central Broward Regional Park & Stadium, 3700 N.W. 11th Place, Lauderhill; Hillsboro Pineland Natural Area, 5591 N.W. 74th Place, Coconut Creek; Plantation Heritage Park, 1100 S. Fig Tree Lane, Plantation; Tradewinds Park & Stables, 3600 W. Sample Rd., Coconut Creek; and T.Y. (Topeekeegee Yugnee) Park, 3300 N. Park Rd., Hollywood.

Do the centers replace the 954-357-5121 Master Gardener main telephone number?
Yes. It will no longer be possible for a resident to call and speak to a live Master Gardener. Callers will be instructed either to leave a message, to email, or to visit the nearest Public Service Center.

What are the days and hours?

When will the centers open?
All six were up and running as of June 17, 2013.

How do I find a center within a specific park?
Go to the main park office, where staff will direct you to that park’s center. The front desk will also have the center’s schedule.
