Fly Right: Radio-Control Airplanes

All ages. Classes are offered by appointment. 
$30 - one-hour session
$86 - three-hour session
$599 - five-day pro pilot course 
$20 fee for an airframe inspection and flight test.

Skeet and Trap Shooting Lessons

Ages 10 and up. Classes are by appointment only.
$170 per person for three hours.

Yoga

Adults only. Thursdays, 6 p.m. 
Classes are $10 each. No need to preregister.

Atemi-Ryu Karate
T.Y. Park, Hollywood
Instructor - Joseph Williams
Ages 5 and up. Mondays and Wednesdays, 4 to 6 p.m.
Learn self-confidence, discipline, and respect while enjoying our classes, led by Grandmaster Joseph Williams. Karate is also a great way to stay fit and increase strength and flexibility. 
$50 per month for first family member; $40 per month for each additional family member.

Broward
Ski and Wakeboard 
C.B. Smith Park, Pembroke Pines
Instructor - Mike Tolzmann
All forms of water-skiing, wakeboarding, slalom knee boarding, barefoot skiing, and tubing are taught, using a ski boat with wakeboard tower, wedge, perfect pass, and training boom.

Educational Farm and Birthday Programs
Tradewinds Park & Stables, Coconut Creek
All ages, by appointment only.
Classes are hands-on enrichment programs about farm animals. The instructors are experienced and offer a range of programs for children from preschoolers through middle school students. 
Cost is $6 per child with one teacher and two chaperones admitted free per class.

Each tour is specifically designed to provide a variety of educational experiences, such as hands-on involvement with the barnyard animals, a walk through the Tradewinds farmhouse museum, a visit to the windmill, a lesson on animal nutrition, a walk through a cypress wetland, and much more.

All field trips and birthday parties should be reserved in advance. Call Tradewinds Stables at 954-357-8720 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or email TWFarmTours@Comcast.net for reservations. Pony rides and hayrides can be combined with farm tours, although reservations must be made separately.

"Walk on Water" Paddleboarding Instruction
T.Y. Park, Hollywood
Instructor - Paula Hennessey
For all ages. Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, 9 to 10:30 a.m. except Wednesdays (4:30 to 6 p.m.)
Introduction to paddleboarding. Includes board, paddle, life vest, instructor and digital photos. Learn proper paddling technique with an emphasis on fun and safety!
$40 per lesson, $160 for five lessons, $300 for 10 lessons. $35 per lesson for registered T.Y. Park campers. Group rates available for 5+ people.
