after shool programThe Broward County Parks and Recreation Division's After-School Program is for ages 6 to 12 at all six neighborhood parks. A Teen Program, for ages 13 to 17, is offered at all neighborhood parks except Boulevard Gardens.

The free programs are offered annually at neighborhood parks in communities in the Broward Municipal Services District (formerly unincorporated Broward County). The After-School program runs from 2 to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays; the Teen Program runs from 2:30 to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Both programs start on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, and run through Tuesday, June 4, 2019. As space is limited, preregistration is required.

Activities include cultural programs, youth sports, arts and crafts, time for homework, game-room activities, field trips, computer access, and more. For more information, call or visit the park of your choice.
