Learn to Swim

Session Information

All swim lesson classes meet for a total of eight lessons. Classes are 30 minutes long and meet Monday through Thursday. Classes are limited to six students and will be held only if a minimum enrollment is met. Students may be placed in a different class, during the same time slot, at the discretion of the instructor. If lessons are canceled, make-up time may be added to each class. If make-up time is not enough, lessons that are canceled will be made up on Fridays. For evening classes that are canceled and are not able to be made up through make-up time on a Friday, those classes will be made up during the following week, as indicated on the schedule, as early in the week as feasible. Each session is limited to two rain-out lessons. Call the park for details.

Registration Information

Registration for all swimming lessons start May 1. Refer to each park for specific times and locations. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum registration is not attained. The fee is $50 per session plus applicable taxes. For more information or registration, call the park of your choice. Tips for Parents

  1. All participants must be dressed and ready to swim at the time classes begin. Parents should bring towels for their children.
  2. If you need to feed your child before class, meals should be light. Greasy food, candy, and soda are not recommended.
  3. Participants should be in good health. No one with a cough, cold, fever, infection, open sore, or rash, or who looks or acts sick, will be allowed to participate.
  4. Parents and family members are encouraged to stay and watch. Please notify a supervisor if you plan to leave the swimming facility during lessons.
  5. Pool toys and teaching materials are supplied by the park. We discourage bringing toys and flotation devices of any kind from home.
  6. We encourage parents to ask questions or raise concerns.

Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations or date transfers must be made at least 14 days prior to the first day of class. Cancellations/transfers are subject to a $10 fee. Refund requests must be submitted in writing or by fax to park management and accompanied by the original receipt.
