2018 Summer Camps at Broward County Parks


From horseback riding to soccer to nature investigations and everything in between, we have summer day camps to keep kids from 5 to 18 engaged and stimulated this summer. Campers can enroll for as little as a half-day or full-day program, all the way up to camps that run for multiple weeks. Details are below. Florida sales tax may apply to fee-based camps; check with the individual program to confirm.

Camp Adventure

  • For grades K-2 (lower camp), 3-5 (middle camp), & 6-10 (upper & teen camps)
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Session 1 – June 11-29; Session 2 – July 2-20 (no camp on July 4); Session 3 – July 23-August 10
  • $175/one week, $525/three weeks, $1,050/six weeks, $1,575/nine weeks
  • Preregistration and nonrefundable $50 processing fee required

Junior Farmers’ Camps

Summer Horse Camps

  • Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Beginner/intermediate riders – June 11-14, 18-21, & 25-28; July 16-19 & 23-26
  • $300/camper per four-day session
  • Advanced riders – July 30-August 2 & August 6-9
  • $400/camper per four-day session
  • Preregistration required
  • Long pants and closed-toe shoes required; campers should also bring hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and towel, as well as lunch and snack

  • For ages 6-12 (day camps) or 13-18 (evening camps)
  • Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (day camps) or 6-9 p.m. (evening camps)

  • Evening camps – June 4-8, 11-15, & 18-22
  • $295/camper for one week of day camp, $530/camper for both weeks
  • $199/camper for all three weeks of evening camp

Summer Recreation Program at Neighborhood Parks
  • For ages 6-17 (6-10 at Boulevard Gardens, 13-17 at Sunview)
  • Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (early dropoff and late pickup available)
  • June 18-August 10 (no program on July 4)
  • Includes free lunch and snack for first six weeks; campers must bring their own for final two weeks
  • Indoor and outdoor activities include arts and crafts, a nutrition program, sports, special events, life skills, guest speakers, and optional weekly field trips (minimal fees entailed)
  • Free, but space is limited; preregistration required at the park of your choice
