Castaway Island Water Park
Broward County > Parks > Topeekeegee Yugnee Park > Castaway Island Water Park

Aerial of Castaway Island complexCastaway Island is now closed for the 2011 season and will reopen on March 10, 2012.

Castaway Island offers two interactive water playgrounds: one for smaller children, with climbing features and a small slide, and the other with features more suitable for older children, including an oversize bucket that regularly fills with water and then dumps it out onto the playground below. In 2007, the water park's original sand-bottom lagoon was replaced with a zero-entry, hard-bottom swimming pool with a waterfall at one end. The aquatics complex also includes a marina that provides boat rentals.

Admission Fees: For the swimming pool only, $5/person. For a one-hour-and-50-minute session at water playground and all-day access to swimming pool, $7/person. Children under 1 year of age are admitted free. A season pass (Find It All card) is available for $56 per person. The park's regular gate entrance fee of $1.50/person (children 5 and under free) is also in effect on weekends and holidays.
