This .64-acre unstaffed pocket park, serving Broward Municipal Services District residents, includes a 471-foot long walking path, green space, landscaping, irrigation, and solar lighting. It was originally named after the neighborhood -- Broadview Park. After Jan Washburn passed away in April 2017, the County recieved letters from the Broadview Park Civic Association, the Broward Sheriff's Office, and local leaders that asked for the pocket park to be renamed Washburn Park, in honor of the family's contributions to the community. The park was renamed in January 2018 and opened June 23, 2018.
