Coastal Study Timeline

FEMA’s multi-year coastal study and mapping process started in Southeast Florida in June 2014. Broward County’s coast areas will be a part of the extensive study that will focus on flooding conditions due to storm surge, and wave action from coastal storms.

Below is the estimated timeline for the mapping project. It details the planned phases, including an opportunity for public review meetings that will allow communities and stakeholders to stay engaged and informed about the study effort.
