Oversees Broward County’s insurance program including purchased insurance policies for property, liability, excess liability, fine arts, and other specialty lines. Any new County property whether by purchase, lease or construction must be reported.
Determines the appropriate insurance coverage and limits for vendors doing business with Broward County. All requests to establish insurance requirements for bids, work authorizations, purchases, agreements, and bonds must be submitted for review.
Reviews and approves proof of insurance, in the form of a certificate of insurance to ensure compliance with requirements. All certificates must name Broward County Board of County Commissioners as an additional insured. The email addresses below have been set up to facilitate reviews and approvals.
