Due Diligence Services

​​​​Real Property Section manages real estate due diligence services for the Broward County Board of Commissioners, the County Administrator’s Office (CEO), and Broward County departments, divisions and offices only (not for the general public).

Due Diligence Services means that Real Property Section acts as the County’s real estate adviser in conducting adequate and professional research into and reporting of factors that could affect the use and market value of real property and by applying professional real estate standards and methods in accordance with Florida Statutes, Broward County Code and Broward County Administrative Code.

1.  Real Property Appraisal.

  • A professional systematic analysis of real estate to determine its current market value
  • Differs from the property assessment performed by the Broward County Property Appraiser’s Office which conducts an annual valuation of property for ad valorem taxation purposes
