We Are Resilient

Broward County’s Resilient Environment Department is responsible for advancing the resilience of our community through diverse environmental, planning, housing, regulatory and community-oriented programs. By implementing these actions, Broward County offers a greener, more sustainable, and climate-resilient community.

Agency efforts focus on integrating innovation and resilience across service areas: natural resource planning, management and protection; land use/ housing patterns; environmental, development and construction regulation; animal care; and consumer protection.
