EMS Council Kicks Off Campaign Against Texting and Driving
The Broward Regional Emergency Medical Services Council and Broward County Commissioners officially launched the "Take 5 to Stay Alive. Don't Text and Drive." campaign on May 11, 2012. Formula Race Car Driver and Western High School honor student Gabby Chaves, 18, was introduced as campaign spokesperson. Chaves is one of the youngest and most talented drivers on today’s racing circuit.
