Neighborhood Improvement Project

The North Central County Neighborhood Improvement Project (NCCNIP) includes water, sewer, drainage, sidewalks, paving, landscaping, and entrance signs. Neighborhoods include: Roosevelt Gardens, West Ken Lark and Rock Island. There are currently 5 Bid Packages planned for this project. Construction began in late 2003 and is expected to be complete in 2012.
Roosevelt Gardens
The work planned for this neighborhood includes storm water drainage, roadways, sidewalks, landscaping improvements and related work. Construction began in late 2003.

This project is scheduled to begin construction in the 2nd quarter of 2009 and be completed in the 2nd quarter of 2011. |
Rock Island
The work planned for this neighborhood includes upgraded sanitary sewer collection system, potable water distribution system, storm water drainage, roadways, sidewalks, landscaping improvements and related work.

This project began May 8, 2007 and is scheduled to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2009. |

This project is scheduled to begin construction in the 2nd quarter of 2010 and be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2012. |
