The average residential customer with 5,000 gallons per month of water consumption will experience an overall increase of $1.92 in their monthly water and wastewater bill -- from $61.89 to $63.81 which equates to a 3.10% increase. The proposed rates are necessary to fund operating costs, debt service costs and cash financing of the capital improvement program.
