ROOSEVELT GARDENS COMMUNITY CLEANUP
SATURDAY, FEB. 14TH, 8 AM-NOON

Love your community. Come volunteer to lend a helping hand at a Community Cleanup on Saturday, Feb. 14. Roosevelt Gardens is located at 2841 NW 11th St. Please contact Elaine Barrett at 954-553-0041.

You’re invited to volunteer along with friends and neighbors for a one-day community cleanup to help remove litter and trash from swales and vacant lots in Broward's Municipal Services District (formerly called "Unincorporated Broward") neighborhoods.

Broward County can help your neighborhood-based group organize a community cleanup by providing:

Roll-off containers and free disposal Community Event table
Gloves, trash bags, and safety vests
Coordination and monitoring of event
Flyers to promote event
Certificates for Community Service hours

Simply fill out the application form and Community Cleanup program staff will be in touch with you. We hope to hear from you soon! If you have any questions, please call 954-474-1870.

The benefits of community cleanups include increased neighborhood pride, higher property values, less instances of illegal dumping, and lower crime rates.
