Full Legal Name: Cocomar Water Control District

Public Purpose: To adequately provide for drainage and reclamation, protection against flood damage, water supply and irrigation, prevention of salt water intrusion, water pollution abatement, and other allied functions.

Boundaries: On the North by the south right-of-way line of the Hillsboro Canal; on the East by the west right-of-way line of the Florida Turnpike; on the South by the north right-of-way line of the C-14 Canal; On the West by  the centerline of the right-of-way of Florida State Road #7.
