Allow Extra Time to Reach Terminals 2, 3, or 4
Due to Temporary Lane Closures

Traffic entering the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport may experience    traffic delays until October 2009.  Construction crews will be working on the upper level roadway to make repairs. However, traffic on the lower-level roadway may also experience delays.

This work will cause lane reductions throughout Terminals 2, 3, and 4 and may cause up to a 45 minute delay during peak travel times.

Travelers are encouraged to allow extra time to reach Terminals 2, 3, or 4. This applies if you are:

Dropping off passengers
Using the remote parking options
Dropping off a rental car
Using the shuttle from the Rental Car Center to the terminals
Using another form of transportation to arrive at the airport (taxi, limo, hotel shuttle).
