Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) has recently began the process to potentially bring the Registered Traveler (RT) Program to the airport. The RT program is administered by several private service providers (such as Clear, FLO, Fly Fast, Preferred Traveler,Vigilant Solutions). The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has approved these providers after they met strict requirements.
By the end of June, FLL will issue a formal solicitation to these approved service providers to submit proposals on providing the RT product at FLL. The procurement process ensures fairness to all qualified providers. It may take several months to select a provider and implement the RT Program. Depending on the provider response and the economic feasibility, FLL may implement the program at some or all of the airport's concourses.
